We were disturbed when we discovered that the author of the article had just “recently” found out about the power of custom reports, seeing as everyone here at Digital Insider has already been in love with the Google Analytics’ Custom Reports feature. It’s an incredibly powerful tool that allows great flexibility to slice and dice your website analytics data in very interesting ways, based on your unique business goals and needs.
At Digital Insider, we have been using custom Google Analytics reports for quite some time and find it integral to the process of setting up Google Analytics for our clients.
In fact, of the six Google Analytics reports that our clients receive on a monthly basis, four of them are custom reports, including a custom report that tracks goal completions and conversions over time.
